On 26 March 2026, the NatUR-W project participated in the online training “Presentation of Existing NEB Projects”, organised within the NEB4ALL project. The event brought together New European Bauhaus (NEB) Horizon Europe and Policy National Contact Points from across Europe, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among stakeholders working to advance the NEB initiative.
The training showcased a diverse portfolio of projects that demonstrate how the core values of the New European Bauhaus—sustainability, inclusion, and beauty—are being translated into concrete actions and innovative solutions at the local and regional levels.
NatUR-W was represented by Pedro Sanchez Sanchez from the City of Lorca, who presented the project’s objectives, implementation approach, and ongoing activities. The presentation highlighted how NatUR-W contributes to sustainable urban regeneration by integrating nature-based solutions, promoting climate resilience, and fostering more inclusive and liveable urban environments.
Throughout the session, participants explored a variety of inspiring case studies illustrating the practical application of NEB principles across Europe. Interactive discussions encouraged the exchange of experiences, innovative methodologies, and lessons learned, while also strengthening cooperation among projects and institutions engaged in the New European Bauhaus community.
